After a year at the University of Arkansas I moved to Chicago and married my first husband Bradley T. Hales. I completed my BS in Foods and Nutrition in 1976 and a MS in Health Education in 1977 from the University of Utah after returning to Salt Lake City from Kauai, HI.
In Butte, MT I worked as a clinical dietitian and owned a gourmet coffee and tea shop. I taught dietetics for the University of Idaho and after my first husband passed away, I went to the “eight year plan” to finish my doctorate in Foods and Nutrition from Washington State University in 1993.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1999 and for the last fourteen years have been a therapist working primarily with clients with eating disorders where I can apply my therapy and nutrition expertise.
I enjoy being a grandmother to 7 grandchildren although they are currently at Ft. Belvoir, VA and Guam. I have a son who was in Afghanistan in the Army and the other is in Guam as a medical social worker in the Navy. I love to travel and have been to Taiwan, Guam, Australia, New Zealand, Europe including Croatia, Guatemala, Canada and Mexico.
We recently moved to St. George, UT from Wanship, Ut . I still work 2 days a week seeing 10 clients for LDS Family Services (a private agency) and teach one course on-line every semester. I enjoy riding in my husband Roger’s vintage car which is a 32 Ford complete with rumble seat!

After graduating from BMHS, I attended Carroll College In Waukesha WI for two years, then transferred to UW-Whitewater. In October of 1966 Fran (BMHS '62) and I got married.
We have two beautiful daughters, Kelly Jenkins and Tracy Maxwell, two wonderful sons-in-law, and five bright and talented (of course -- aren't they all?) grandchildren, four girls and one boy. We truly enjoy reliving the experiences, antics, joys, innocence, and surprises the young offer.
After our girls were in school, I worked in the accounting field. I retired in 1996 when we built a log home in central Wisconsin. A two or three day weekend is like a vacation in the quiet of the woods. It always renews me to spend time there. In Beloit I spend time in some church activities, love to watch grandchildren's sports and school activities, volunteer at the polls, and am current president of Beloit PEO Chapter Y. Life is good and I am truly blessed!
I hope that everyone enjoys the reunion weekend, is awed by Beloit's changes, and arrives back home safely! For those unable to join us this time, I hope you can make it next time. We will be missing you!

Graduated from the Universithy of Wisconsin - Milwaukee 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Went on to start my 35-year career in Human Resources with Stone and Webster Engineering located in Cherry Hill, NJ. I also held management positions with RTE and Rexnord in Milwaukee, WI.
I married Roy Ramquist of Beloit in 1967. Roy became an International Marketing Manager for General Electric. I had the opportunity to accompany Roy on several of his trips to Europe and Latin America. After a wonderful 45 years of marriage, unfortunately Roy passed away this year.
In college I developed an interest in the fine arts. This led to collecting fine art and the founding of Leefer Fine Arts Gallery in Milwaukee, WI. The gallery was located in the Walker's Point neighborhood and I became involved with community issues. I joined the board of the Walker's Point Development Corporation and held the offices of Vice President and President.
In retirement, I struggle with improving my golf game and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I married Arlene Reagan (BMHS, 1965) in 1975 and we recently celebrated our 38th anniversary. We have two daughters, Mary (32) living in CA and working in the organic foods industry, and Ellen (34) living near us in Sheboygan with her husband, Alan. They have one child, Sophia Rae, 7 months old and full of life, laughter and energy.
Arlene and I lived in Natick, MA for 20 years. I taught chemistry and coached basketball and tennis at Natick High while Arlene taught in the elementary grades. In 1989, we moved back to Wisconsin, relocating in Sheboygan. We continued to teach in the Howards Grove district, both retiring in 2007.
I continue to work for College Board and ACT as a consultant, assisting science teachers as they face the challenges of new standards, more testing and kids that were much like us in 1963!

![]() Hi Classmates: I have not been able to be at any of the reunions because we have always been working or traveling in and out of the country. My husband Joe and I married on September 11, 1965. We started traveling almost immediately with Joe's job of dismanteling engineer. After Candice Annette, our first child who was born in 1969, we moved back to Janesville, Wisconsin hoping to settle in our favorite Wisconsin. Unfortunately Joe could not find a job, so we decided to move to where my parents lived, North Palm Beach, Florida. We love the beaches and the easy way folks lived down here. It was live being on vacation all the time. Love beaching, boating, fishing, all the water stuff. Tried a couple times to get work in Wisconsin but never did. We ended up purchasing our own business and ran it for thirty three years. we retired and sold mostly for health reasons.
Our second child Lisa Marie was born here in Fort Pierce, FL she grew up and became a teacher and married her best friend Steve Helseth. He is a Port St. Lucie Police officer and the SWAT commander. They have my two special grand children Kevin Dean 16 and Lindsay Elizabeth 13.
Candice Annette our older girl is a Human Resourse Offices for Naval Facilities and she is married to a special man Donald Porter who is a Navy officer. They live in Jacksonville.
Wish I could be there to celebrate with all of you, but my health keeps me here.
My husband Joe died on September 4, 2011. He is really missed.
